Phnom Penh, November 6, 2023 – Aii Language Center’s (Aii) project “Share A Dollar Save Lives” cooperated with Mengly J. Quach Foundation (MJQF) made a donation to the Indochina Starfish Foundation (ISF) Chbar Ampong Campus with 100 sacks of rice, equivalent to 2,500 kilograms. The organization supports about 360 students from elementary to university levels by providing an education and learning environment.
Mr. Sophea M. Lay, the president of Aii, said that Aii has led its students in charity works. He continues, “the goal is to offer another method of teaching beyond classrooms and to provoke the thoughts of students in the cultures of helping, giving value, and encouraging each other in the society as well as provide access to education to everyone to become future leaders of Cambodia.”
Mr. Lay stressed on the importance of Aii involvement in community work in Cambodia and building a community of learners for the 21st century. The new campus inauguration of Aii in Chbar Ampov on October 25, 2023 is the best example.
For this charity work to ISF Cambodia, Aii wishes to support the healthy development of children by consuming nutritiously. Only when children have enough nutritious food to eat then they can grow, develop and learn well,” Mr. Lay added.
Aii Language Center (Aii) has launched a fundraising initiative called “Share A Dollar Save Lives” and has received active enrollment from its students and teachers across campuses in Phnom Penh including Mao Tse Tong, Toul Kork, Chak Angre, Choam Chao, Phsar Thmey, Chroy Chongva, and Chbar Ampov.
Charity work is an initiative of Neak Oknha Dr. Mengly J. Quach to help students, orphans, and underprivileged people.
Since 2004, Mengly J. Quach Foundation (MJQF) has been smoothly implementing its programs and projects in the capital city, provinces, and municipalities which has benefited people who are sick, vulnerable, poor, and elderly. The Foundation collaborates with NGOs, companies, government agencies, local authorities, and the whole MJQE business groups and units.
